1/04/2008 -NEW FIRE APPLIANCES FOR SKEGNESS



Due to recent changes in fleet suppliers by Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue, Skegness Fire Station has a new look fleet.


The fire appliances at Skegness have had a major shake up recently.

The old Volvo B16 has been replaced by a new MAN fire appliance with a Ziegler main pump along with 33 other new MAN appliances throughout Lincolnshire.

B13 has been replaced by a fully refurbished ex-London Fire Service automatic Volvo appliance this also is in line with a number of other appliances throughout the county being replaced with ex-London vehicles.

In addition to this Bravo Tango the Prime mover has gone all together along with the EPU.
